Applies to: all WSL Team Members

Right to work

Right to work is a legal requirement that the employer is responsible for.

The following documents or combination of documents that are acceptable as proof of right to work.


For New Zealand & Australian Citizens

·         NZ Passport

·         AU Passport

·         NZ Birth Certificate (sighted photo ID)

·         NZ Citizenship Certificate (sighted photo ID)


 




Acceptable Forms of Photo ID 

The following are acceptable forms of Photo ID as long as they have the same name as the Birth/Citizenship Certificate:
  • New Zealand Driver Licence
  • 18+ Card
  • Firearems Licence
  • Student ID

If the names do not match, a Deed Poll confirmation/Marriage/Divorce Certificate will also be required. 

For Non-NZ/AU Citizens

There are 4 visa types that are acceptable:

·         NZ Work Permit (conditions must be met)

·         NZ Permanent Resident

·         AU Permanent Resident

·         AU Returning Resident
