Your personal presentation at work is an important aspect of making good first impressions to our customers and your fellow Team Members. Whether you are in our uniform, or in office attire, you are required to meet high professional standards of personal presentation. When you are wearing your uniform, you are representing our Brand.
We will provide you with uniform shirt/s and name badge. For comfort and personal preference, you are expected to provide black pants or a black skirt and black shoes as described in the policy at your cost. You can purchase these from The Warehouse at cost plus GST; just ask your Manager for a letter authorising the purchase.
We will replace worn out uniform as needed. Replacement and additional pieces of uniform can be ordered via your Manager or Departments PA. Old or returned uniform is destroyed.
You are responsible for ensuring you wear full, well presented uniform when in store or when required to wear uniform.
When do you wear uniform?
When you leave us, the uniform we provide must be returned to your Manager in good condition excepting fair wear and tear, before your final pay is paid.
Shirts: Up to 8 hours rostered work per week: one shirt 8-16 hours per week: 2 shirts 16+ hours per week: 3 shirts You ensure they are well maintained, clean, ironed and always tidy. In stores, male uniform shirts are worn tucked in. Female shirts can be worn either tucked or untucked. Fleece Jacket: All team members are provided with one fleece jacket. You ensure it is well maintained, clean and always tidy Name Badge: You will be provided with one name badge. It must be worn at all times when in Store. Name badges are worn on the right side of your shirt, in line with the embroidered logo. It is your responsibility to look after your name badge. If a replacement name badge is needed, you may incur the cost of this ($5) Please note, the above applies in Stores only, amount of issued uniform will vary for other locations |
You provide: Pants/Skirt: Black pants or skirt as you choose provided they are knee length or longer and professional in appearance. Shoes: Clean, black, sensible flat or low heeled shoes completely enclosing your feet that provide you with adequate support and safety. Socks/stockings: Plain black socks or plain black or clear stockings. Other: Any top worn under your shirt must be blue or black and short sleeved. |
Additionally:
