Conference Store Communication

May 2018

Hi Team,

As you know our immediate strategic direction has been to fix our retail fundamentals. While we are making good progress, we continue to face challenges. With the end of the financial year coming up it's really important that we maximise our financial performance by being mindful of our costs.

We know how hard everyone has worked this year and we really appreciate everything you do. We want to ensure we celebrate all your awesome work, but going forward we need to do this differently. As a result we won't be holding regional conferences. Instead we'll provide each store with funds to create their own local celebration.

We are also looking at how we can celebrate success and reward outstanding work on a more regular basis. So we won't be holding our annual awards. We will however continue to recognise our long service recipients.

This was a really hard decision to make, and it's not one we made lightly. I know that work has already started on this year's conferences, so I'd encourage you to use that work to build a fantastic local event that celebrates all of the amazing things you have achieved this year!

We are working through all the details and your Regional Manager and Store Manager will let you know more soon. If you have any questions please contact Ask People Support on askpeoplesupport@twgroup.co.nz.

Thanks team,

Pej
